Ecdysis created by Charlotte Reynolds depicts the occurrence of when one is physically present compared to its absence and what happens when traces of identity are either visible, removed, fragmented or left behind. These transparent figures are anonymous on what or whom they represent, yet they are universally representative. Faded memories of who and what we are, our traces we leave behind which may be remembered or forgotten, and representations of this is involved in the production and installing the sculptural work of Charlotte Reynolds.
